Clinton support was pretty small in the audience, which I've heard is pretty representative of the progressive blogosphere in general. The poll we did before the results started coming in on who folks were pulling for on the Dem side:

Edwards 38%
Obama 32%
Kucinich 19%
Clinton 9%

I was trying pretty hard to both keep the discussion on the topic at hand, and include as many different voices as possible.

Maybe recruit some Clinton supporters to come participate for our New Hampshire coverage Tuesday!

I enjoyed your coverage last night. In many instances, you were scooping the major news networks, and the witty repartee was great.

My only problem with the ongoing discussions was that either there weren't many (if any) people backing Clinton or those posts weren't approved. I was pretty amazed and disappointed about that.

I agree most emphatically with Spencer Beard about the disruption of scroll back when a new comment pops up. Additionally, I would post somewhere a specific question to address so that the thread isn't lost. Of course, you don't want to shut off interesting loops of thoughts or even catchy digressions, but it might help to have a unifying thread more visible on the main screen. Jim Gilliam, you and all the Young Turks, do a terrific job. This blog, specifically, is a wonderful contribution to political discussion.

Your coverage was very good -- I plan to watch your coverage of the New Hampshire primary, and I hope you will extend coverage for the rest of the election. I have been boycotting the MSM for the last three years, so I don't have a current basis for comparison, but based on my recollection, you have added some credibility to the often overblown claims about "new media" as a valid alternative.

To make your coverage better, I would suggest setting up your scrolling comment box to the right of the video feed slightly differently. Currently it jumps to the bottom whenever a new comment is posted. That makes it real tough if you are trying to read back comments, especially when the new comments are coming in at such a high rate. Let the screen flash or something to show a new comment has arrived. But leave me back where I am reading so I don't have to keep scrolling back to finish.

Otherwise, I loved it.

This is awesome!! Thank you guys so much for doing this. I've actually never heard the Young Turks show before, and I'm really enjoying it.

This is a great way for everyone to get together virtually and experience the election together.
