Brave New Films: John Edwards will not negotiate with health insurance corporations

I hear John Edwards, whom I do agree with much of the time, started out as an attorney FOR corporate america.
This is the one of the biggest things that bothers me and his lack of Senate leadership on these issues when he was a Senator.
That said, I do think he will come in the top two in Iowa.

He was only a lawyer for corporate America for his first couple of years in the early 80's. Then he started fighting them.
I worked for corporate America for my first few years, and ditched it for this work once I figured out what was going on.
I don't see how you can possibly fault him for this.

Actually, it is not a fault, it is a question that lingers when coupled with his record of NOT taking these issues head on when he was a Senator. I would like to know what the conversion was that causes him to attempt to do what he did NOT do while Senator. I actually think he would be a good vice-Pres choice if he does not win the Demo nomination. Think of someone doing the "attack dog" stuff for good like our current VP does for what one could call Evil (Halliburton and big oil, etc.). He would certainly be a good point person on some of our major issues.
