I contacted Intuit and have already received an email and phone call assuring me that they've pulled their advertising. I am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor as well as a CPA and must say I appreciate their prompt and professional attention to this matter.
They told me they don't buy spots for the Savage show, but end up there through general media buys. They immediately took action to pull their spots when this came to their attention.
You will no longer find Intuit advertising on the Savage Nation website or radio show.

Here are the responses I received from from Mr. Webster at the USDA and from GEICO Insurance Company about my emails requesting they don't pay for or air advertising or PSA's on Savage's shows.
I find the airing of PSA's for the USDA most disturbing because it sends the message that the Government approves of Savage's message. Here is the USDA's response...
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is not a sponsor of the Michael Savage program. Any radio station in the country can choose to run our public service announcements without our knowledge. They air them free of charge. USDA has purchased no commercial time for these to air.

I really like the films you put out. But I have to disagree about going after Michael Savage because he is anti-Muslim. Yes Savage is on the right wing of the spectrum and says some very inflammatory things. But of all the things to go after him for, do you really want to blindly defend the Islamic religion?
If you are "progressive" and "liberal", how can you possibly defend such a hateful misogynistic religion?
Girls are subjected to circumcisions where the clitoris is removed.
Women professionals like doctors and lawyers under the Taliban were forced to give up their careers.
If they merely suspect a woman is not a virgin or hanging out with westerners, they are subjected to honor killings. I.E. the taxi driver who just murdered his two daughters.
Women cannot drive.
Women cannot vote.
In Saudi Arabia, some girls were forbidden to flee a burning building because they did not have burkas. Of course they were burned alive!
Can you not see what horrible treatment women are subjected to?
Why the deafening silence?
I will always take the side of civil and human rights over the right of another culture to be violent, hateful and sexist towards women.
Why don't you solicit the opinion of feminist groups like NOW and see how they feel about the way the Islamic religion treats women.
Otherwise, how can you ever consider yourselves "progressive", if you will defend a religion over the rights of women?

Yes, there are Muslim states/countries with power structures that oppress women horribly. And there are Muslim people that support this based on how they interpret their religion. But to imply that everyone who practices Islam is misogynistic and evil is a misstatement based on prejudice (a.k.a. ignorance). Lumping these people (yes...that ARE people!) into this one category is no different than saying all Christians are homophobes (doesn’t the bible say it’s wrong?) or all Jews are … or Blacks are…. You get the point.
I’m saddened and scared that progressive, generally tolerant people find some kind of comfort in demonizing Muslims as a group. This is exactly what the extremist Muslims choose to do to us to justify their violence against us.
There are millions and millions of people practicing Islam who are loving, kind, just people. Many who have fled other nations to live here because they do not support the ways of these other countries. They deserve to be included, and they deserve our respect. And we – the people who call ourselves just and tolerant – have a responsibility to protect them against hateful speech and actions based on bigotry and fear.
Please, think deeply before you speak this way. WE are the people who should be encouraging dialog and understanding among all people. Only in this way will there be justice.

I got scammed by ITT Tech too

I am a former ITT Tech student, as is my wife. We both are very unsatisfied with ITT Tech and have started a website to bring people together to go forward with a class action lawsuit against ITT Tech.
Those of you who have been duped (as we were) into signing up for ITT Tech and realized what a rip off it was... please visit, join and participate. By myself there is nothing I can do about the debt and waisted time, but with enough people together there IS hope.
The only other option is "take it like a man" and pay the crooks and let them carry on with ripping more people off. No thanks... I'm too stubborn to lie down and "take it".
That's one of the problems with Per Inquiry advertising: You don't control the context in which you are advertising. For about the same amount of money advertisers enjoy much more control buying remnant advertising time. With a brand like ITT Tech advertising using direct response radio, they could get much better results with targeted response from a careful cash media buy.
