Well to be fair i don't think they allow "goddamned" on the channel not to mention she couldn't remember what she was gana say, but they def cut away right as she says "goddamed". I think the message still go across though. But it is a little frightening they will be controlling the cameras at the DNC, who decides these things i wonder.

"goddamned" is not one of the seven dirties, and you can definitely say it on the television as well as on the radio. Award shows have been skiterish ever since Michael Moore's win at the Academy Awards - they're petrified of anyone turning their speech into anything interesting. BTW, they pulled this shot all night when they thought someone was going to say something controversial.

They are ALL ABOUT manipulating messages and controlling what you can or can't see and hear. Having them operate the cameras at the democratic Convention would be a colossal mistake - why not let Bill O'Reilly control the mics while we're at it?

she is a great actress. the whole man vs women in leadership positions argument, is godddamn stupid. there are just as many horrible mothers as there are fathers. btw, what does fox do differently than, nbc, cbs, abc, cnbc, cnn, msnbc, pbs, etc. they're all painfully bias. news is entertainment. don't kid yourself

trh i don't hate. it's all about prospective. we all want our ears tickled. if some tv show wants to cut off whoever whenever for whatever reasons, that's their business. get it, it's a business, just like the news it's a business. pay attention trh they're all the same depending your angle/prospective.

Field's remarks were only censored for the U.S. audience. Canadians got to see the whole, unedited speech:

Faux has some of the most sleazy sexual shows on TV, and thats just on Faux News. They were not afraid of censors because of the goddamn. I would give Faux the benefit of the doubt on this one and say maybe she spoke to long, except that the Canadians saw the whole thing. I do not know why they did not show it, given their delite in saying, another hollywood liberal hating America. They could have said she was a skinny Rosie.

Mark thank you for finding the unedited version, that post you referenced makes a very interesting point. “Was it because they were seeking to suppress legitimate dissent in a public forum?” The message Fox is sending to the public is frightening. This kind of censorship goes against the root ideals this country was founded on. Even in small doses like the video shows is unacceptable. I was arguing a case for Fox before I saw the unedited version, now that I know the full speech was aired other places I rescind my original position.
Bill, so you’re against Fox, this sight, or both?? Changing the channel isn’t going to do very much, your right in saying Americans need to change the channel but until this happens sites like these are necessary to show exactly what Fox is trying to keep people from hearing.

only the government can be accused of censorship. we are a commerce drive society. don't like, don't buy it. i'm not against or for fox, but don't kid yourself into thinking fox has cornered the market on reporting the news with a slant. fox may be late to the news game, and thats what upsets everyone, it's that they are kicking the asses of the established news deceivers. and they can't stand being beat at their own game. be courageous, think for yourself.

Let's face it......we all know why Fox cut out the last part of Fields speech and it wasn't because she said god damn. They could have bleeped it out...it was because she was protesting about war. JUST FACE IT! Fox is going to do what they want- so just don't watch it if ya don't like it- and go ask Archangel Mike to vaccum out your negative energy!

Joe, one would think a person so against insulting posts wouldn't follow suite. There is plenty of civil discourse on this site, but mostly that is interrupted by people being baited into slinging insults. Like what you posted. I've been pursuing through this site for a while now and one constant thing I notice is conversation starts civil and informative then someone of differing opinions comes in and begins to berate others with rude un-thoughtful comments and insulting remarks. People being people get upset and frustrated thus the negativity comes. I understand your irritation but instead of saying things like "worst and stupidest sites I have EVER seen" try starting civil conversations. When and if people start to sling mud steer the conversation back to real topics. I promise you will find it very easy and in the end pretty informative.
