How can we know if 'A Responsible Plan' isn't just another empty promise with no REAL possible results?

What does everyone think of the 'Responsible Plan'? Is it far-fetched or is it actually a realistic approach?

Should military spending increase, decrease, or stay at the same level?

Darcy, you have said that whether or not the surge is working is irrelevant. But the surge has affected public opinion. How does your plan address the success of the surge? Is there a need to update it in light of any changes in conditions on the ground?

Darcy claims to be a pro woman's Representative. Why did she REFUSE to endorse the most important female in the HISTORY of the Democratic Party? Was this politics?

Being Republican used to mean reaping what you sow. The Bush administration told us that the Iraq War would be paid for with Iraq oil revenues. Then we were told that there were no Iraq oil revenues. Now, it seems that there is an estimated $80 billion Iraq oil surplus (See: www.timesonline.co.uk )... All the while (children of) US taxpayers are paying for Iraq reconstruction using money effectively borrowed from China. Will we get any of that Iraq oil surplus back?

Democrats get accused of "tax & spend" or "PAYGO" all the time but who can conitance the Bush/McCain programs of "Spend & charge" any longer? They are like a teenager with their 1st credit card! The Arab plan of bankrupting the USA is working. Stop the war and keep the wasted money in our Treasury till we are solvent again.

    Darcy,
First of all, it was such a pleasure to hear you and David on the panel at Netroots Nation.
The Blue Dogs have supported the War as long as funding is offset via pay-go. Given your swing district, would you join the Blue Dogs and keep your Iraq stance or stay part of the Progressive Caucus?

Ali, you ask "Why did (Darcy) REFUSE to endorse the most important female in the HISTORY of the Democratic Party?"

If you're referring to Ms. Clinton, then my answer is, "maybe she didn't think she'd make a very good President." Just because she's a woman doesn't mean she's good presidency material. Or good feminist material, for that matter.

How revealing and disturbing that a woman would vote for a woman just because she is a woman. Or an African-American would vote for an African-American just because he is an African-American. Yet that seems to be prevalent in this country and it certainly was true in the Democratic primary. Pretty sad - we're all socialized that way.

Win what? The job of our army was to remove the dictaor from power and they did that, so I repeat win what?
Question, let's remove the no longer USA company that runs the work operations in Iraq and see how long we would want to stay, Chaney's company that it?

Everywhere that Chaney's company he worked, they have tried to take over and run everything, Snadia or Bectel would do a better job, buthen if we did that, we would leave Iraq yesterday, right?
