Brave New Films: Bill O’Reilly is Projecting

You are so FULL of Contradictions.
In this paragraph, you made a point, and then you had to go and do EXACTLY what you had just accused O'Reilly of doing:

"Gotta love comments about hatred coming from the coward who spews venom about patriotic Americans day in and day out. But, then what would a mulit-millionaire elitist like O’Reilly know about the great volunteers who work year round to bring Yearly Kos to fruition."

    1. He would not have become a Multi-Millionaire if he had not WORKED for it, and if he did NOT bring in the money to the Broadcast Station by Listeners and advertisers appreciating what he had to say.

But, you Detest ANYONE who could possibly hold a different point of view than you do, which is a VERY UNAmerican point of view, since this country was Founded upon Diversity of Thought and Opinion. But now we SEE just how much you Hate this countries Founding Principles cause you are now out to Destroy Fox News, just because you HATE their stances?

    A BIT Communistic of YOU!!

I read on Breitbart that you're starting a letter writing campaign to Fox advertisers to pull their ad dollars. Did you steal this idea from Al Sharpton? That was what he did to get Don Imus off the air. Good luck with your campaign. I own 5000 shares of Home Depot stock and I'm going to write and ask them to increase their advertising on Fox and cut out CNN and MSNBC altogether.

Ed P, you seized upon some of the language in the original posting as an excuse to miss the point. The issue here is not whether Bill O'Reilly is successful at what he does. Clearly he is successful for Fox, otherwise he would not still be broadcasting.
The underlying issue is that O'Reilly is a deeply hypocritical bully. He whines and rants about "hatred" on DailyKos, when he was the one who remarked that perhaps somebody should bomb San Francisco. His own website has a significant number of angry, hate-filled postings on it which he appears to have conveniently ignored.
My problem with people like Bill O'Reilly goes well beyond hypocrisy. Even hypocrites can make cogent arguments and those arguments should be assessed on their merits. Ideas and arguments are the currency of free speech. However, it is impossible to engage in anything approximating to a debate or discussion with Bill O'Reilly, because of his underlying bully pathology. Like most bullies, O'Reilly is impervious to disagreement or reasonable interactions with opponents. He regards every adversary as his next victim, and, like most bullies, deploys an arsenal of classic tactics to silence them (talking over, shouting down, cutting the mic). When called on his own hypocrisy, he becomes shrill and insistent and resorts to verbal intimidation. In short, he is a deeply flawed human being who is currently being given free rein to marginalize and demonize any individual or group of people with whom he disagrees. What is there to like about that?
On a broader front, Fox News often gives free rein to broadcasters whose mode of operation consists in large part of demonizing and denigrating anybody with whom they disagree. Those of us who grew up in Europe and read modern history understand those tactics only too well as the tactics used by fascists and Stalinists to silence dissent and ultimately eliminate opposition. That understanding places me firmly in the group of people who regard Fox News as a negative influence on modern America.
Any organization whose mode of operation consists of demonizing opponents is not in the best position to lecture me or anybody else on "founding principles" or "intolerance". They can try that, but excuse me if I wander around the corner and burst out laughing, or engage in some pointed ridicule.

It's hard to say the truth outloud.
And Billy boy tries very hard but you fail to understand. Is that the reason you hate him?

Since we're on the topics of chickenhawks in the mold of BillO (of loofa fame and self-aggrandisement of madeup journo awards), when can we hear more about the billionaire Tom Freidman (he earned his money the old fashioned way, he married it).

Last question: is BillO a bi-sexual like George & his lover boy Victor Ashe?
